Pre-production is the preparation and planning stage of a project. In architectural photography, detailed planning is everything. It's the basis of our ability to deliver great results, quickly and efficiently.

We start by talking with you about the reasons for the project and the purpose of the photography. Will it be used in a brochure, a magazine ad, or a billboard? Different usages require different methods. We'll review your shot list - a list of the different angles and views needed - or work with you to develop one.

We also gather practical details on the property's location and orientation, on-site contacts, after-hours building access, power sources, and so on. Time and budget permitting, we travel to the location to personally assess site conditions, sun angles, and other factors.

From this input, we determine the best format for the photography, prepare an estimate, and propose a shooting schedule.
