As a rule of thumb, we allow 45 to 90 minutes per digital interior shots and 30 to 45 minutes for digital exterior shots. Dusk or dawn shots can take anywhere from one to four hours or more.

Because smaller format and digital exteriors are physically and technically easier on the shooting crew, they allow us to move more quickly than with film. The time saved is used toward producing more shots, or more variations on shots.
